Razer is already known as Apple in gaming world, you pay portability and build quality for that, not mentioning QC. Some big brands are trying also doing thin light gaming catagories this 2 or 3 years, but mostly with cheaper parts that will show its issues after half years gaming usage, I saw that recently, meanwhile after 6 months doing clean Far Cry 5, AC Franchises, FFXV, occasionally competitive titles PUBG, Destiny 2, BF franchises, OW, it still holds steady.
So for gaming I would pay that premium over MacBook Pro, or other thin light gaming laptops like new alienbook m15, and I pay also the look beside those things I mentioned. Joikansai , Dec 22, Dat1Fish and ChiefNieth like this. Refurbed laptops are actually a really good deal.
Only challenge is finding them in stock. ChiefNieth , Dec 22, Dat1Fish and Joikansai like this. People on europe pay also bonus small ammount of money for nothing so in here we are screw. There are a few cogent and convincing reasons why Razer is an expensive brand when compared with its adversaries.
Let me allude to and briefly discuss each one of them. Razer, as mentioned earlier, is also called the Apple of the gaming world. They pioneered the tradition of launching slim gaming laptops. Well, at Razer, they stay away from plastic. And this is the reason why they not only stand out in the looks department but are quite easy at pack and port too, as compared to the other giants in the line. So, yeah, the very first and I think the most prominent reason why Razer retains such high prices is because of its machines being so purely elite, eye-catchy, and extremely portable.
And what you pay here is primarily for these external factors than the internal ones. Be it a gaming laptop or a workstation-deg computer, everything here is way lighter than usual, all thanks to the minimalistic aluminum vestige. Besides being highly premium , Razer laptops are also unmatched in terms of build durability. All aluminum and forged excellently thin, the fabric here is always extremely stout and stable. And this is one of the most weighty reasons why are Razer laptops so expensive.
Almost every Razer laptop features a chemically fortified surface anodized with firm electro-chemical bonding.
That said, these laptops also feature some exceptionally scratch and trauma resistant chassis with a nonpareil finishing throughout. The only other laptop that comes close to that premium finish and feel you get when using a Razer Blade is the Dell XPS series which is arguably better built even but unfortunately they dont put better gpus in them.
Think they cap out at or Ti. Not even considering Macs in this discussion for obvious reasons. So end of the day if you want a premium quality laptop with the best aesthetics theres only one clear choice. Badgertista , Apr 3, Joikansai , Apr 7, You should be blind or retarted to think that Razer Blade is cheap, not counting if you're a bilionaire. I never once said it was cheap, just a logical price to fall under I guess? I had more of the blade 13 and the 15 base model in mind when i wrote that previous reply, but I feel like it applies to the later models of the 15 as well.
