Use the map below to help you find it by looking for marker 1. The next Hunt, listed below, is a little bit more difficult and requires some preparation. Level up your characters to level 5 or 6 by traveling to the Dalmasca Estersand Sand-Swept Naze which is located just north of where the Flowering Cactoid can be found. Battle the enemies in the area until you reach a high enough level. You can also travel to the Nalbina Fortress to purchase some more advanced Magicks, Technicks, Weapons and Items before initiating the fight.
Completing this Hunt takes a lot more preparation and strategy going into the fight. This is an incredibly useful spell that can help you start to form a proper party with a tank.
Check out the Party Setup page for details. The remainder of the quest cannot be completed until you complete Hunt Marauder in the Mines. The missing child can be found directly south of the Nomad Village at the southernmost end of the Giza Plains in an area called the Crystal Glade. When checking the map, the area can be easily identified as the area with the second Save Crystal at the bottom of the screen. Use the map below to help you find it and travel to that area speak with him.
Jinn, the Nomad Youth, will explain that he was injured while running from some monsters. He asks for your help in creating a Sunstone. He explains that, in order to turn the Shadestone into a Sunstone, you must seek out the Dark Crystals all over the Giza Plains.
The Dark Crystals are the large glowing rocks that Jinn points out — they are also pointed out by the game on the map of the Giza plains and are located in each of the four corners of the plains. You may not need to reach all four Crystals in order to complete the quest and you will automatically return to the area where Jinn was found once the Sunstone is fully charged.
Though there are four rocks that'll give you the sunlight needed to turn the Shadestone into a Sunstone, you should only need three of them. After a series of cutscenes, all that's left for you to do is to advance out of this area and back to Rabanastre. Work your way back into Lowtown and swing a left to head back towards the residence of Old Man Dalan. As you do, Penelo will leave your party, but don't worry - she'll be back later. Go and speak to Dalan. Listen to his important cutscene and he'll give you the Crescent Stone.
With that, you're supposed to head back to where you can enter the sewers it's in Lowtown, not too far away, and marked off on your map to boot. However, we recommend that perhaps you consult our Hunt list and work up some levels, money, licenses, confidence, et cetera.
Then , go to Storehouse 5 as marked off on your map. Kytes will meet up with you here, and give you 2 Potions and 4 Eye Drops to deal with whatever's found in the sewer.
Good deal! Hereafter, head into the Garamsythe Waterway. Last Edited: 12 Jan pm. Timestamps for the video below Wolf in the Waste hunt Giza Plains. Was this guide helpful? YES NO. Bonjour , friends. I'm getting hungry but I have no idea what I want to eat. I'm kind of low on things I like to snack on.
I bought a load of delicatessen meat from Tesco last night on the way back from the gym, but it's all gone now :. The Giza Plains connects to both sides of the Dalmascan desert, as well as being a major connecting route to later areas, so expect to come here a lot.
About the enemies: Hyena are the new Wolf enemies. Pretty easy. Giza Rabbits are a pain, as they run away and cast Protect on themself when they take enough damage. Avoid the Slaven for now, as its Stomp can deal upwards of 60 damage and kill you by surprise. Werewolves are the new Red enemy, and are aggressive so stay well clear.
You begin on Throne Road. Head south and you'll come to a settlement. Here, you can buy a map of Giza Plains from the Cartographer Moogle. Talk to the woman by the crate, Masyua. She sends you off on an errand to find Jinn , the Fire Demon one of the boys from the village. After accepting the mission, Vaan runs into Penelo, who invites herself along. Age : 17 Height : 5'3" Class : Slightly more than Vaan.
If Vaan has little influence on the plot, then Penelo has absolutely none whatsoever. She only exists because Vaan does, following along like a passive-aggressive puppy. She's so generic and free of character development that I genuinely don't know what to say here.
I don't hate her as much as other walkthrough writers, but I can see why she draws ire.
